Summary of policy aims |
To support young people aged 16-24 that live in East Ayrshire to access further opportunities, training and employment. We work with young people to remove barriers to employment, and seek support from other services to increase and better those on our caseloads. Initial target are set at supporting 100 young people, 40 of which are Modern Apprenticeships, however YPG will support as many young people as possible.
We also work with employers to create and support vacancies in East Ayrshire with employer recruitment incentives. |
Key issues |
No issues arising, YPG team awareness of EQIA to ensure groups are consulted and work towards goals of the project.
N/A - Project only been in implementations since Sept 21, with informal delivery review to take place in April 2022. |
Summary of involvement with Groups |
Young people have and will continue to be consulted more formally to shape future delivery. Support so far is needs led, however more formal data collections will take place.
Working closely with partners to shape our delivery and support existing provisions, alongside support and consultation with the Young Person`s Guarantee Board and the Local Employability Partnership. |
