How to apply

How to apply

Any child from 0 to 11 years who lives or attends primary school in East Ayrshire is eligible to apply for a SHOUT card.

When a child starts Primary 1, he/she will be issued with a SHOUT consent form to be completed and returned to the school. The SHOUT team prints the cards and returns them to the school to be issued.

You can also apply by:

  • downloading the consent form and bringing it into our office - Vibrant Communities, 16 John Dickie Street, Civic Centre South, Kilmarnock, KA1 1HW - where we will normally be able to issue your card within 10 minutes

Losing your card

If you lose your SHOUT card, you should report it immediately by contacting the team on the number below. A replacement card can be printed for £2.40 and can be requested from your nearest customer service centre or from Vibrant Communities' main office.

Card expiry

Children can use their SHOUT card up until the end of Primary 7 - including the whole of the summer holidays afterwards. The card will expire on 31 August of that year.
