The Referendum on the UK's Membership of the European Union was held on Thursday 23 June 2016.
A total of 33,891 votes were cast in favour of remaining a member of the European Union and a total of 23,942 votes were case in favour of leaving the European Union.
The turnout for East Ayrshire was 62.9%.
