Victim information and advice service

The Victim Information and Advice Service provides information to certain victims, witnesses and bereaved next of kin. It’s part of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service.

They can:

  • provide case specific information about key aspects of the criminal justice system
  • advise you of any developments in any court proceedings that you may be involved in
  • connect you with other organisations for emotional and practical support

Women's Aid

Women's Aid supports women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse. They offer:

  • information and support
  • safe accommodation if you need it

You can contact them to talk in confidence or learn about your options.
