The thresholds are set by COSLA and directly linked to the age of an individual, removing those on a low income from charging with a waiver process is in place in respect of severe hardship.
The thresholds are set by COSLA and directly associated to the Department for Works and Pensions. To account for Disability Related Expenditure (DRE) East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership disregard 40% of income above the recommended CoSLA charging thresholds.
