This policy as with all other policies recognises the requirements of Equality Act and our Recruitment and Selection, SSSC and other HR policies / support mentioned in the document have robust processes to ensure they are accessible to anyone no matter their ability. The policy is applicable to all Council services regulated by the Care Inspectorate which in turn covers all employees within those services within a staff group where SSSC registration is mandatory.
