One of the most prestigious cycle races in the world will be taking place on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April 2017.
This event is a qualifier for the Gran Fondo World Championships and is set to attract thousands of cyclists from all over the country.
On Tuesday 7 February and Wednesday 8 February event organisers Golazo Cycling, a major European brand in the sport, will be holding two drop-in community events with representatives from East Ayrshire Council.
This will give our communities the chance to find out more about the event and its worldwide status; the road closures that will be in place and the best way for people to plan for journeys over the race weekend; opportunities for local businesses to provide supplies and services and how hotels, bars and restaurants can make the most of the event.
Drop in between 4pm and 7pm on Tuesday 7 February at the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock or Wednesday 8 February at Cumnock Town Hall.
Full details of the event can be found on the event website along with a list of frequently asked questions.
