And they’re off!

Entries are now open for Kilmarnock’s 10k road race, Roon the Toon and over 300 runners have already signed up.

On Sunday 11 June, runners will race Roon the Toon on a new route which will include the pedestrian area on King Street.

The course is very fast and is suited to runners who are aiming to set a personal best this summer.

The calibre of club runners is set to be very high as the race will incorporate the annual West of Scotland 10k Championship.

Double European gold medallist and Rio Paralympian Sammi Kinghorn will also be in Kilmarnock on the day competing in an invitational wheelchair race.

With an increased prize fund, even better pre race entertainment and new route, Roon the Toon is back bigger and better than before.
