Leaving feedback using GovMetric smiley faces


It's really important to us that you find our website useful and easy to use. You can help us to improve our online services and web pages by letting us know what you think.

The simple way to do this is to click on the smiley faces on the right hand side of every page. This will take you to a short feedback survey which starts with selecting one of the smiley faces.

What do the faces mean?

By choosing one of the 'smiley faces' on the web page, you can let us know if:

Leaving feedback helps us to improve our website where it isn't working quite as well as we'd like. For example, if you haven't been able to find a piece of information that you were looking for, let us know.

Or maybe you thought the page was clear and concise and told you everything you needed to know. We'd like to hear that too!

What we do with your feedback

We look at every comment we receive. If we've been rated as poor or average we will look to see what we can do to fix the problem. Some changes will be immediate, other more complex issues may take some time. Either way, we will do our best to rectify the problem you've experienced.

You have the option to leave a comment to tell us exactly what was right or wrong with your visit to our website. It helps us if you can leave as much detail as possible. Unfortunately there may be very little we can do if you don't leave a comment as we won’t know the nature of the problem.

You can leave your contact details (optional) if you'd like us to follow up your feedback. We may contact you for more information relating to your comments, or we may just reply to let you know how we've addressed the issue.

It's fine if you want to remain anonymous but this means we won't be able to let you know any outcomes from your feedback.

You can also comment on a council service, decision or policy. If you don't want to do that online, you can always contact our Customer Services Team and leave feedback in person.
