In response to an enquiry from the Kilmarnock Standard, Stuart McCall, Legal and Estates Services Manager said: "On Friday we received confirmation that the interim liquidators (KPMG) were now prepared to allow the sale of alcohol in the premises once again.
"As previously explained the premises licence had not been suspended. The issue was of a technical nature due to the liquidation proceedings against the premises licence holder which was nothing to do with or at the instance of East Ayrshire Licensing Board.
"Applications for the transfer of the licence have also been received and these will now proceed as normal.
The business is now trading as normal"
