G’day, Bonjour and Ciao to Tour of Ayrshire riders

Cyclists from across the world will be jetting into Scotland for East Ayrshire’s Tour of Ayrshire race weekend.

Our beautiful scenery and challenging rural roads attracted the organisers of the Tour of Ayrshire, Golazo Cycling, who are set to deliver the prestigious cycling event on Saturday 29 and Sunday 30 April 2017.

The Tour of Ayrshire is a qualifier for the Gran Fondo World Championships. Thousands of riders will be attending the race from across the country and across the world.

18 countries will be represented including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Malta, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Singapore and Sweden.

Event organisers and East Ayrshire Council hope that local communities will provide the riders with a warm welcome and will take to the streets to cheer on their efforts.
