Neighbourhood watch

A number of Neighbourhood Watch schemes operate in East Ayrshire. If you would like more information about joining a scheme or setting up your own, please contact Police Scotland or our community safety team.

You will receive a starter pack with information on the next step to setting up a scheme, and should there be sufficient interest within your area a member of staff will outline the stages involved in getting the scheme up and running.

The ethos of Neighbourhood Watch is simple and easy to establish. Taking an interest in your local community and looking out for one another is all that is required. It relies on the law abiding and responsible members of our communities being our eyes and ears and contacting us if they see anything suspicious.
