Assist with the technical production and delivery of performances and events in accordance with health and safety requirements in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of East Ayrshire Leisure’s Business Plan and the Palace Team Plan.

Rate Of Pay
Rate of Pay = £10.04 - £10.48 per hour (10% Shift Allowance applies)
Hours of Work = 35 hours per week which is variable depending on schedule.
You will be required to work within the Palace Theatre and Grand Hall in Kilmarnock and Cumnock Town Hall as required.
This post is temporary for a period 12 months from date of appointment.
1.) Assist with the safe and efficient setting up, delivery and dismantling of stage related props and equipment used to support the delivery of rehearsals and performances within the Palace Complex and other venues across East Ayrshire in accordance with relevant health and safety legislation.
2.) Assist and accurately advise performance organisers with availability and technical specification of equipment and support the planning and delivery of the technical aspects of events.
3.) Assist the Technical Stage Co-ordinator with the planning and delivery of a range of stage set and technical requirements of performances and events ensuring the stage crew are fully prepared to carry out their duties.
4.) Assist the Technical Stage Co-ordinator in the operation of technical aspects of the venue.
5.) Assist with the accurate and timeous provision of information related to the availability of equipment and details of technical specifications are accurately and timeously communicated for use or hire by visiting performance groups, touring companies and other venue hirers ensuring all requirements are fully documented.
