Advice and support

Home Energy Scotland is a Scottish Government programme managed by the Energy Saving Trust and can provide support and advice in the following areas:

  • Home Energy - helping you save energy and money and make your home warmer. We can also do a free Home Energy Check over the phone to pin-point where you could save energy and money.
  • Renewables - helping you work out which renewables systems are right for you and your home and tell you about financial support and reputable installers
  • Loans and support - providing information regarding financial support, benefits, and incentives. Helping you take control of your energy bills through finding discounted energy rates you might not be aware of.

Energy strategy and carbon management programme

The Energy Strategy and Carbon Management Programme has been developed in line with our Transformation Board's agenda to 'implement an energy strategy and carbon management programme to reduce energy usage to a level which mitigates anticipated increases in energy costs.'

The Energy Strategy and Carbon Management Programme outlines our objectives for reducing energy usage and how we will achieve this.
