Save time, do it online
Our East Ayrshire customer portal gives you access to a wide range of council services online. If you create a customer account, you can:
- Register for your residents recycling permit
- Apply for school transport
- Apply for a clothing grant or free school meals
- Manage your council tax and rent accounts
- Submit supporting documents using our online PostBox
- Make payments
- Track your requests
- Store your contact details and more
Registering is easy, all you need is a few minutes and an email address.
Automated payments
If you wish to make a payment you can do so on our online portal or via our automated payments line 01563 574057.
To make a payment you will need your reference number. Payments can be accepted for:
- rent, home contents insurance and garage lock up
- council tax
- parking fines and other penalty charge notices
- non domestic rates
- invoices
Paying by PayPoint
While our public counters and office receptions are closed, most PayPoint facilities are still open if you wish to make a payment. To make a payment you will need your payment card reference number.
Sensory impairment help and support
Please find below a list of services currently operating to provide support for people with sensory impairments.
East Ayrshire Council Sensory Impairment Team
This service is for people with a visual, hearing or dual sensory impairment and includes British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation. We can provide information, telephone support and replacement equipment at this time.

For emotional support and help, including replacement batteries and re-tubing equipment for NHS hearing aid users, please contact:
