As part of the Customer First programme, the Scottish Government, East Ayrshire Council and other agencies have introduced the National Entitlement Card (NEC) to make it easier for people to access public services across Scotland using just one card. Visit the National Entitlement Card website for more details.
The National Entitlement Card delivers Scotland-wide free bus travel for older (60 plus) and disabled people.
