Piersland Park (Kilmarnock) Conservation Area Appraisal & Draft non-statutory Planning Guidance
The purpose of the draft Piersland Park Conservation Area Appraisal is to identify the factors that contribute to the special character and interest of the conservation area and to ascertain the opportunities and priorities for its enhancement.
The purpose of the Design Guidance is to identify and describe the characteristic architectural features of the Piersland Park Conservation Area and provide advice on their correct maintenance and preservation. Further, it provides advice on the design of alterations and additions to properties within the Conservation Area to ensure that they remain in keeping with its character.
