Proposal
The Minerals Local Development Plan (MLDP) was adopted in January 2020 and forms part of the statutory development plan for East Ayrshire, sitting alongside the East Ayrshire Local Development Plan (2017). Within the East Ayrshire MLDP there was a commitment to prepare four pieces of Supplementary and non-statutory guidance that will sit alongside the Plan itself, giving greater guidance on certain matters contained within the Plan. Three pieces of
guidance are now available for consultation: Financial guarantees (this also covers and updates financial guarantees for the LDP), community benefits and peat, excess soils and sewage sludge.
