As part of the engagement stage of the new East Ayrshire Local Development Plan (LDP2) a 'Call for Site Information’ is underway.
We undertook a ‘Call for Priorities, Issues and Proposals’ in 2017 to support the preparation of LDP2, however, it is considered that circumstances are likely to have changed since the Call was made. Another opportunity is therefore being offered to developers and landowners to submit sites that they wish to be included as potential development opportunities for housing or other land uses in LDP2.
A survey to be completed by prospective developers and landowners is available to download below. It allows for extensive detail to be provided and promoters of sites are advised to contribute as much evidence as possible to justify their site’s inclusion as a preferred option. Doing so will allow the planning authority to properly assess the merits of each proposal.
If you have already submitted a proposal you do not need to resubmit unless there is additional or altered information which you wish to advise us of. However, the more detail that is provided, the easier it is for us to consider the site and whether it is suitable for allocation in LDP2.
