Transformation Strategy update 2013

Council services are changing to meet the challenges presented by ongoing budget constraints.

Last year, following an extensive community consultation and engagement exercise, we agreed a number of business actions to reduce costs.

We've been working steadily to progress these and as part of this year's budget consultation we have continued this conversation with local people.

Future East Ayrshire Live

We also held a live question and answer session in the Council Chambers on Thursday 14 November. Future East Ayrshire Live was a question and answer event, hosted by East Ayrshire Council Chief Executive, Fiona Lees, who was joined by a panel of senior council officers to answer questions posed by a live audience. The event was streamed live online.
