  • Status: Open
  • Alpkit are now prioritising their funds to support projects that demonstrate an immediate impact on those effected by the COVID-19 virus crisis. They welcome any applications from individuals or organisations serving those affected by the coronavirus across the country.

Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust

  • Amount: Up to £1,000
  • Status: Round two open 1-30 April 2022
  • In line with its 2022 focus on the Arts, the Trust’s first and second rounds give priority to projects supporting performers and creatives in the early stages of their career and responding directly to the impacts of COVID-19 on the sector.

Creative Scotland Sustaining Creative Development Fund

  • Amount: £1,000 - £50,000
  • Status: Open
  • The fund aims to enable individuals and organisations to explore ways of working that will help them to adapt and respond to the current changing circumstances. The fund is open all year round, with no deadlines and can support activity for up to 12 months. Please note, Creative Scotland are also providing bridging bursaries to freelance and self-employed individuals.

Foyle Foundation Small Grants Scheme

  • Amount: Not indicated
  • Status: Open
  • One-year grants only to cover core costs or essential equipment, enable ongoing service provision, homeworking or delivery of online digital services to charities that can show financial stability. Priority will be to support local charities still active in their communities and are currently delivering services to the young, vulnerable, elderly, disadvantaged or the general community either directly or through online support if possible.

Museums Galleries Scotland Museums Recovery Fund

  • Amount: Up to £90,000
  • Status: Open until 11 March 2022
  • The maximum grant available to each organisation is the equivalent of three months worth of operating costs, capped at £90,000. Funding is flexible to allow recipients to adjust their plans to spend funding if needs and priorities change. Any funding awarded must be spent by March 2023.

National Heritage Memorial Fund COVID-19 Response Fund

  • Funding available to community and public sector organisations in the UK for projects to protect nationally important heritage assets that are at risk due to the impact of coronavirus.

The Theatres Trust Small Grants

  • Amount: Up to £5,000
  • Status: Open until 3 May 2022
  • Funding available for theatres run by charities and not-for-profit organisations to support small capital projects that will make a big impact on a theatre’s resilience, sustainability, or accessibility, including work to make theatres COVID-secure and ready to reopen.

Volant Trust COVID-19 Response Fund

  • Status: Open
  • Accepts applications from charities in the UK and internationally that demonstrate a strong focus on alleviating social deprivation and helping vulnerable groups who have been particularly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Applications for medical equipment and the production or distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will also be considered.
