We're acutely aware that everyone is having to adapt the way we live, work and shop.
Our Town Centre Regeneration Team has been working to bring an online platform to the area for some time
We're with you all the way. That's why we've joined forces with ShopAppy.com to launch a one stop virtual high street for local businesses, enabling you to continue trading safely even when your doors are closed.
We also have ShopAppy for shoppers.
What is ShopAppy?
ShopAppy provides a collective online shop window and ordering service for every member town and village. Over 150 areas have already signed up across the UK, with many more joining every week. The platform is supported by Visa as part of its #Whereyoushopmatters campaign.
Having ShopAppy means your customers can support your local High Street from the comfort of their sofa. They can browse, book, buy, and get a convenient home delivery from independent shops and businesses in your area with one simple checkout.
How ShopAppy works
ShopAppy is free to businesses, and it's easy to use, even for sole traders. All you need to do is create your own profile with help from the ShopAppy.com team and you can start uploading products from your phone, tablet or laptop.
Watch the video below about how ShopAppy works.
Click and collect
You can opt to offer click and collect - either from your own premises or a collection point and/or offer delivery (the customer pays for this).
How to get involved
If you're a trader and want to join the scheme, it's easy to get started. Visit ShopAppy.com to register and the ShopAppy team will be in touch.
If you're a shopper, just go to ShopAppy pick your local area and start browsing online.
