You, our website visitors, have evaluated this website as being the best in terms of customer satisfaction.

You may have noticed a pop-up survey appearing as you browse the website. This independent survey is carried on around 71 council websites across the UK and is provided for us by SOCITM Insight, the premier professional body for reviewing public sector websites, and publishers of the annual Better Connected evaluation reports.

The survey results were consolidated by the Society of IT Management (SOCITM); and when they were ranked according to overall customer satisfaction, East Ayrshire Council's website comes out in top place in the UK .

This result was announced in March 2007, shortly after the Better Connected report placed us once again in the group of TOP Scottish council websites and is the real reward for the hard work staff in all Council departments have put in.

We recognise that there is a lot more effort required to continuously improve our online presence, but it is gratifying for us to know that our efforts are being appreciated by the very people that really count - our customers.
