Housing advice and assistance is provided to all private sector residents
in East Ayrshire Council, including landlords. Support is also provided
to private sector tenants.
A dedicated unit has been established to deal with issues surrounding
the private sector which also deal with the
Registration of Private Landlords.

Do you own or know about a property that is currently vacant?
East Ayrshire Council are currently developing an 'Empty Homes Initiative'.
This involves establishing a list of vacant private sector property, including
details of the owner and the condition of the property. The aim of the
initiative is to identify the number of properties which are currently
vacant and assess the options available to bring them back into use.
