There may be some alterations to the layout of your kitchen. This will be discussed with you prior to works taking place.

How Long will the works take to Complete?

The works will generally take no longer than 3 days, however temporary use of your cooker and kitchen sink will be provided at the end of each working day.

Will I be expected to Empty Kitchen Units and remove Personal Belongings?

Yes. The contractor will supply crates for you to transfer the contents of your existing units into. These crates will be stored in an adjacent room within your home.

The contractor will check, disconnect and relocate washing machines, cookers, fridges, dryers and other heavy kitchen appliances.

You will get a choice of 6 different schemes of kitchen drawer fronts and doors.

There will also be a limited choice of the colour for any ceramic tiling.

This will be explained to you by the contractor and/or Contract Administrator prior to the work commencing.

Will my central heating be affected?

Depending on the layout of your new kitchen, radiators/storage heaters may have to be repositioned and your central heating may have to be switched off during this time.

Will the work affect my existing decoration?

These are major works involving complete renewal of your kitchen including alterations to layout, wiring, plumbing and the provision of new units, sinks and work surfaces.

Obviously all reasonable care will be taken but your decoration will still be seriously affected and to assist you, an allowance of £80 will be provided.
