We now have dedicated staff working in partnership to increase support to the most vunerable members of society. The purpose of the team is to maximise income for every East Ayrshire resident aged over 60. Members of the team can help with all benefits advice and paperwork and can make referrals for other services. The help can be given within the persons own home.
Members of the team will be able to:
- Provide advice and information on benefits and entitlements
- Help with paperwork
- Talk about your needs in the comfort of your own home
- Refer or advise on other services eg heating, home safety, adaptations
etc
The team can help you with :
- Council Tax benefit
- Housing Benefit
- Pension Credit
- State Retirement Pension
- Disability Living Allowance
- Attendance Allowance
- Carers' Allowance
- Winter Fuel payment
- Bereavement Allowance
- ....any other DWP benefits
