Housing

Housing Associations and Co-operatives

Housing Associations and Housing Co-operatives are known as Registered Social Landlords (RSLs). They aim to provide good quality houses for rent and for sale. RSLs - which are non-profit making organisations - are managed by voluntary management committees. There are currently 13 RSLs in the East Ayrshire area.

You can apply directly to these organisations for housing or contact your nearest local office. The council may have a nomination agreement with the RSL which entitles us to nominate an applicant from our waiting list when requested.
