This forum is designed to assist tenants in finding a suitable party to exchange with by the placing a post giving a brief description of the property, size and location.

Once you have found another tenant who wishes to mutual exchange with you, you should close the forum topic. The council will then issue both parties with Mutual Exchange Application Forms. If either of the parties are tenants of a Housing Association or other Registered Social Landlord you should contact them also.

You must not make any arrangement to move house until written approval has been granted for the exchange and each party has signed a new Tenancy Agreement.
