MEMBER'S INTERESTS

The Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 (Register of Interests) Regulations 2003 provides for the setting up of new registers of interests for Councillors in relation to the Code of Conduct for Councillors which came into force on 1 May 2003.

There is a separate page for each Councillor and the categories of interests are as follows;-

• gifts and hospitality
• remuneration
• related undertakings
• contracts
• election expenses
• houses, land and buildings
• shares and securities
• non-financial interests
