Website Launch

Introduction

East Ayrshire Council is proud to announce the launch of its new website!

The site was formally launched by Councillor Drew McIntyre, Leader of the Council and Councillor Tommy Farrell, e-advocate, on 14 March 2003 at a presentation in the Council Chambers, attended by elected members, council staff, representatives of community groups and partner organisations.

After hearing speeches on the background to the council’s electronic Government initiatives, the audience was treated to a display of the power and facilities of the new website and were then invited to try it out for themselves at various access points in the presentation area.

Permanent access points are also available throughout the East Ayrshire area for staff and public alike, in line with the council’s commitment to decentralising access to services.

The new website will provide council information and increasingly ‘e-enabled’ services to all our customers into the future.
