Provide environmental education to schools and groups throughout East Ayrshire and beyond.
Interpretation of the environment and landscape of East Ayrshire.
Biological monitoring, surveying and record keeping of all species occuring within East Ayrshire.
Monitoring of all SSSI and Listed Wildlife sites within East Ayrshire.
Provide advice and guidance to individuals and groups within East Ayrshire on all matters relating to natural history, environmental improvement and wildlife.
Maintain records of all Rights of Way within East Ayrshire and provide information to individuals and groups on all matters relating to Rights of Way.
Mediate in disputes over Rights of Way.
Provide information and assistance on grants for environmental projects and assess requests for such grants made to East Ayrshire Council.
Provide support and assistance to local environmental groups within East Ayrshire.
Rescue of injured or vulnerable wildlife.
