Banner
The main sections
in the site are highlighted on the banner, namely Living, Learning, Working,
Leisure, Community, Council. Clicking on one of these links will take
you to the home page of each of these sections.
Regardless of
what page you are viewing on the site, clicking on the EAC logo on the
left hand side of these selections will take you back to the home page.
2. Accessibility/ Search Engine
The Accessibility option, available on all pages on the site links to
a page regarding web accessibility and the option to change the font size
of the text on the page.
The A-Z search can be used in a variety of ways:
Searching by letter will list all pages starting with the letter
that you have selected.
Searching by keyword involves typing text into the box and clicking
the GO button. This will display all pages that have relevance
to the keyword(s) that you have typed.
Searching agendas/minutes
To search for more comprehensive information and agendas, minutes
and reports select Site Search.

3. Acrobat Reader Installer
All printable documents on this site are in pdf format, which require
Adobe Acrobat to be installed on your machine. Any page which has a pdf
link will also contain a link on how to install Adobe Acrobat if your
machine doesn't have it already.

4. Menus/Links
Links to other pages are in blue throughout the whole site. Main section
menus are on the left hand side and are white with bold blue links.
Menus on the right hand side are quick links to further relevant information.
These may be links to other websites.
Red menus contain quick links to recent updated information and online
forms, which can be filled out and electronically sent to the relevant
department.
5. Link Bar At Foot Of Page/Maintenance Information
At the bottom of each page, there is a link bar, taking you back
to the top of the page or to the main sections of the site. This saves
time on needless scrolling back to the top of the page if the page is
long.
There is also a link to the department who maintains the page you are
browsing, so if you feel there is something wrong with the page, you can
automatically email the section responsible for maintaining the page.
