Budget Consultation 2008-09

East Ayrshire Council is proud of its excellent record of financial stewardship and is determined to ensure that taxpayers' money is used efficiently and effectively.

Before we set the rent and the council tax level for 2008-09, we are keen to consult as many individuals and organisations as possible on our budget proposals and arrangements are in place to give you the chance to learn about the Council's spending proposals and to have your views considered.

Summary proposals and other related information can be accessed here online and at all local council offices and libraries. During the consultation you can use our budgetline telephone service where you can request information on the budget and give us your comments, you can write to the Council Leader, e-mail our 2008 Budget mailbox or visit the Council website. The consultation period runs from Thursday 24th January to Thursday 7th February 2008.
