Budget Consultation 2009-10

The budget consultation has now ended. East Ayrshire Council would like to thank everyone for all the contributions to the budget consultation.

East Ayrshire Council is proud of its excellent record of financial stewardship and is determined to ensure that taxpayers’ money is used efficiently and effectively.

Before we set the rent and the council tax level for 2009-10, we are keen to consult as many individuals and organisations as possible on our budget proposals and arrangements are in place to give you the chance to learn about the Council's spending proposals and to have your views considered.

Summary proposals and other related information can be accessed here online and at all local council offices and libraries. During the consultation you can use our budgetline telephone service where you can request information on the budget and give us your comments, you can write to the Council Leader, e-mail our 2009 Budget mailbox or visit the Council website. The consultation period runs from Wednesday 21 January until Wednesday 4 February 2009.
