What YOU can do in an emergency

If you are concerned about the immediate safety of a child i.e. child at risk of immediate harm or injury, dial 999. For other reports, contact your local police or social work office ( for telephone numbers see below).

Do not delay as this could result in serious injury to a child.

For all other concerns about a child refer to your agency child protection procedures and SPEAK to someone.
