What we
do The Child Exploitation and Online Protection (CEOP) Centre works across
the UK and maximises international links to tackle child sex abuse wherever and
whenever it happens. Part of our strategy for achieving this is by providing internet
safety advice for parents and carers and delivering a virtual police station for
reporting abuse on the internet. | About
Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) was
formed in 1996 following an agreement between the government, police and the internet
service provider industry that a partnership approach was needed to tackle the
distribution of child abuse images online.

What
you can report to CEOP Any activity which makes you feel uncomfortable
eg a conversation with someone online who you think may be an adult, who is trying
to meet you for sex.
| What the IWF do Essentially
the IWF is an independent body operating the only authorised non police 'hotline'
in the UK for the public and IT professionals to report their inadvertent exposure
to illegal content on the internet. |
