Educational & Social ServicesIn July 2000, the Social Work Department
and the Education Department merged to form the Department of Educational &
Social Services. By uniting both services in the one department, the Council will
provide improved services for the people of East Ayrshire. The department
has built on its strong relationship to promote an even greater partnership that
shares its responsibilities and provides the best possible services for our customers,
among them some of the most vulnerable people in East Ayrshire. The best practices
from both departments have been brought together to improve and enhance the service
delivered. Vision Statement The Department of
