We in Saint Joseph's Academy offer you a school of which you can
be proud, one which has been widely praised for its good teaching,
structured learning and high quality of pupil experience. We believe
we have programmes of study that give our pupils the best start
in life, providing relevant education, academic qualifications and
spiritual growth.
Saint Joseph's Academy has the particular advantage of being a
Catholic community where Christian attitudes are fostered through
the development of personal faith in Jesus Christ.
We aim to produce young adults capable of taking their place in
society as educated Christians, who are able to make a positive
Christian contribution to the society in which they live.
Following a merger with St.Conval's High School in October 1998,
St. Joseph's now serves the entire Secondary Catholic population
of East Ayrshire.
The Kilmarnock campus dates from 1955 and comprises two large buildings
surrounded by an abundance of play areas and playing fields and
it contains all the modern facilities required to give our young
people an education appropriate to their needs.
The Cumnock campus is very pleasantly situated on the outskirts
of Cumnock with the rear of the school opening out on to Broomfields
Playing Fields, these facilities being available to the pupils.
