Grange Academy is a first class school.
Our pupils are friendly and active, and include in each year group
some of the ablest young people in the country. Each year
brings news of former pupils' graduation, often with very high honours,
from the full range of Scottish and English Universities.
We have strong teaching departments in all
subjects of the secondary curriculum. Technology plays an
increasingly important part in everybody's life, and so Grange pupils
are encouraged to use the school's computers for project work and
internet access.
Grange staff have many years' successful
experience in preparing candidates for Standard Grade, Higher Grade
and Sixth Year Studies examinations. They enjoy contact with
their pupils, and happily help organise an extensive programme of
out-of-school activity.
We intend to continue to provide a first
class education for all our pupils. In return we ask for high
standards in behaviour, approach to work, and personal appearance.
If a boy or girl can be considerate of other
people, is keen to learn and prepared to study hard, and is willing
to work with us to promote the school's image for the advantage
of all, then he or she will have a great future in front of them.
