Higher School and Further Education Bursaries

Bursaries are discretionary grants made by East Ayrshire Council to help support a person in education beyond the statutory school leaving age of 16. The award is means tested and is conditional on a student having satisfactory attendance, conduct and progress. Support is availabe for attending either school, or certain colleges in accordance with East Ayrshire Council's Bursary policy.

Subject to exceptions, anyone who meets the residential requirements and who wants to do a course which is eligible for bursary support should apply.

Bursaries will normally be given for approved full-time courses up to but not including HNC level or HNC equivalent level
