Auchinleck Academy is a modern 6-year comprehensive.  It was opened in 1971 and provides well-resourced accommodation.

The roll stands at 955 students with an underlying upward trend.  There are 68 members of staff at the moment.

The school serves a wide community of towns and villages each with a primary school which sends pupils into Auchinleck Academy.  The great majority of our pupils come to us from these schools and an increasing number stay on  until fifth or sixth year.   We have been able to look after generations of school children and have built up our own expertise.

The task of our teachers is to deliver the highest quality education and to have high expectations of student performance.  Our staff are able and committed and their aim is to help bring out the best a child can achieve.  We are confident, therefore, that each child will be secure and successful with us and our aim is to provide a balanced, stimulating, imaginative and informed curriculum which will stretch each pupil to the limit.
