POPULATION

Population data is gathered to assist service planning within the Council and to provide information for members of the public and business community. The data is supplied for Local Authority, Ward, Settlement and smaller census output areas.

East Ayrshire Population

The population of East Ayrshire as published by the Mid Year Estimates from the General Register Office for Scotland was estimated to be 119,720, consisting of 57,662 males and 61,970 females.
