Welcome to the Development and Property Services Department. Through its three divisions this department is responsible for regulating and providing advice and assistance for:

Economic Development and Property Services

Including Grants, Business Advice, Business Development, Business Premises, Training, Enterprise and Regeneration (including support to key partnerships),
Loan Fund, Disposal and lease of land and property, Providing professional property advice to Council Department and Committees. The Energy Advice unit is within Technical Services, a section within Economic Development and Property Services Division. This unit offers a free home visit which enables us to give advice which is specific to the individual needs and circumstances of the householder. Planning Advice, Building Control, Local Plan, Action Plans & Projects, Listed Buildings, Conservation Areas, Development Opportunities, Population Statistics.

Roads and Transportation

Local Transport Strategy, Road and Bridge Design, Road and Street Lighting, Road Safety Information, Road Maintenance, Road Works Information, Scaffolding Permits and Skip Permits.
