SUMMER EVENTS AT THE DEAN

The summer programme of events continues at Dean Castle Country Park with Close Encounters on Sunday 8 August. Join the Rangers and get up close and personal with “alien-like” beasties and learn more about the world beneath your feet. This event starts at 2.30pm and places are limited so please book online at www.deancastle.com or telephone 01563 522702.

Don’t forget that the Classic Bike Show which was postponed in July will also take place on Sunday 8th from 12pm – 4pm with classic bikes of all ages and models as well as inflatables, Owl Magic and side stalls.

On Tuesday 10 August take part in Green Galleries where you can get creative with the Countryside Rangers and make your own masterpiece with what nature has to offer. Spaces are limited on this event to 30 children so please book to avoid disappointment.

Mammal Morphing will take place on Wednesday 11 August. Create your own super mammal with the Rangers and find out more about how our mammals have adapted over the years and why. Booking is necessary for this event due to limited spaces.

Rainbow Ramble takes place on Thursday 12 August. Come along and dip into nature’s colour palette and take part in activities with the Rangers. Spaces are limited.
