Directions to Council Headquarters
From Glasgow:
M77/A77
From Edinburgh:
M8 to Glasgow, M77/A77 from Glasgow; or
A71 to Kilmarnock
From South:
M74 to Glasgow then M77/A77 from Glasgow; or M74 leaving at A71
Junction.
Take the Bellfield interchange exit off the A77 (third exit sign-posted
for Kilmarnock coming from Glasgow or the second exit sign-posted for
Kilmarnock coming from Ayr). At the interchange take the A735 towards
Kilmarnock. Continue straight on through the next 4 roundabouts. At the
first set of traffic lights at Tesco's supermarket, continue straight
ahead into the one-way system taking the
right hand lane. Turn right and follow the road through the next set of
traffic lights, turning left (continuing in one-way system). Remain in
the right hand lane, and turn right at next set of lights into John Finnie
Street.
Street parking is restricted. To park in the town centre
car parks, continue along John Finnie Street, turning right at end of
street (at Railway Station) and follow road round to Parking at Bus Station
(Pay & Display or Multi Storey).
Turn left as you leave the multi-storey and walk down the Foregate, past
the little statue of four men in a tube, the Pound Shop and the Coffee
Shops, toward the Cross. IT Services is at 2 The Cross, situated
on your left, tucked away in a recessed doorway.
Alternatively, to attempt to park in John Dickie Street:
Remain in the right hand lane and turn right into John Dickie Street immediately
prior to second set of traffic lights (Council Offices are sign-posted
prior to John Dickie Street). 2 The Cross is situated
within the pedestrian precinct at the end of John Dickie Street (next
to the Burns Mall Shopping Centre and the Bus Station).
