LOCATIONS OF HEARING PREMISES

Kilmarnock, Cumnock, Dalmellington Hearings - The Children's Panel has the backing of a full-time professional service provided by the Reporter to the Children's Panel and premises are provided for Hearings within convenient travelling distances of virtually all potential Panel Members. Each session may extend for three hours or so and will consist of several individual hearings.

The number to be attended each year will depend upon the availability of members and the number of cases. However, members will be expected to attend about two Hearing sessions per month. Hearings are held in the mornings, afternoons or evenings. An applicant who can be available for both daytime and evening Hearings will be a particular asset, but, in all cases, some daytime availability is essential.
