Walks, paths networks and cycle networks can be enjoyed at:

• Loch Doon where there are cycle routes and a link to the Southern Upland Way
• Irvine Valley where there is a network of paths and cycle routes from Kilmarnock to Loudoun Hill
• Kilmarnock, where there are links to the east to the paths and cycle routes of the Irvine Valley and a cycle route to Irvine where it links with the Millennium Cycleway
• The Mauchline area where there are paths taking in the River Ayr and Sorn
• Muirkirk where there are paths in the uplands surrounding the town
• New Cumnock where there are paths round the town
