ACCIDENT ANALYSIS

One of the Community Safety Partnership objectives is to reduce Deaths and Serious Injuries which are the result of accidents.

In a typical year 30 East Ayrshire residents die and 1800 are admitted to hospital as the result of accidents. Accident rates are falling gradually and, in recent years, there have been no child fatalities.
