Skip hire is available to both the commercial sector and the general public.

8 cubic yard skips are available for £123.30 + VAT each. East Ayrshire Council normally allows for a 7day hire, however should you require the hire to be longer, extensions can be arranged. Where skips will be used to collect reyclable materials only e.g. timber or rubble, a discounted skip hire price up to a maximum of 35% discount is available. N.B. All recyclable skips will be subject to scrutiny when emptying, and if found to contain general waste, East Ayrshire Council reserve the right to charge the full skip hire charge per hire.

If you require the skip to be emptied and returned, this will constitute another £123.30 + VAT charge, or equivalent for recyclable material skip hire.

Each skip comes with all the required safety markings to ensure visibility.

Skips can be hired all year round. Please note that skips cannot be collected on Saturday or Sunday.

Please do not put the following into your skip: hazardous waste, clinical waste, fridges/freezers, empty gas canisters, asbestos, oil or chemical drums.

Wherever possible, the skip should be kept on your property. If this is not suitable, a skip permit will be required. This can take up to 3 days to obtain.
