Introduction

Waste, rubbish, refuse - never has the issue of what you put in the bin been more important. Throughout 2004 and 2005 East Ayrshire Council introduced every household in East Ayrshire to the Kerbside Recycling Service, and blue, brown and black recycling containers are now as widely recognised as the household wheelie bin.

East Ayrshire Council is improving facilities available to the public for recycling and the Kerbside Recycling Service makes it easy for everyone to get involved and recycle from home!
